Ran across these monsters the other day, but passed on them because I couldn't identify them. RTR stamp on the midrange(?), but no other identifiable marks anywhere.
They are 30" tall, 36" wide, and 14" deep. Two 12" woofers.
If you know what they are and want to solve the mystery, please leave a comment.
Thanks!

What were they asking for the RTR's?? They are great sounding speakers They were made in Seattle,Washington..but now are Chinese owned I think....I have a few different pairs...The best I have heard are the 280 DR's 4x 10" woofers....
ReplyDeleteRSL has nothing to do with RTR
ReplyDeleteThose are STR's, loosely associated with RTR. They were designed to specifically play pipe organ music. From 40-120 hz they had about a 6 db bump, then fairly flat from there on out to about 16khz. STR made their own woofers. A pair were sold in Bellingham, Wa. in the mid 70's.
